Dr. Rashid possess more than 22 years of experience in the field of Physical Medicine.

and in 1996 he obtained his fellowship FCPS (Physical Medicine) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Dr. M. A. Rashid worked in BSMMU and Dhaka Medical College Hospital. In 1996 he joined NITOR (Pongu Hospital) as Assistant Professor and became Associate Professor in the year 2003. Then he worked as Associate Professor of Physical Medicine in Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital up to 2009. Later, Dr. M. A. Rashid joined as Professor and Vice Principal in Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College up to June, 2015.
